Our Leadership Team

Rev. Valson Varghese has served on the pastoral team at New Life Assembly of God for more than 33 years. As Senior Associate Pastor, his ministry includes preaching and teaching.

Beyond the local church, he serves on the Executive Committee of the Next Generation Commission of the World Assemblies of God Fellowship.

Pastor Valson and his wife, Julie, are blessed with three sons — Nathan, Yohan and Reuel.

Pastor Julie Varghese serves as a family counsellor at New Life Assembly of God, Hyderabad. She holds an M.Sc. in Psychology and an M.Div., and is also a certified counsellor, having completed a counselling program with the Person-to-Person Institute for Christian Counselling, accredited by the Association of Christian Counsellors, South Asia.

She is actively involved in the Women’s Ministry and Children’s Ministry, and has supported many young couples at NLAG through pre-marital counselling.

Julie and her husband, Rev. Valson Varghese, have been married for 26 years and are blessed with three sons — Nathan, Yohan and Reuel.

Rev. Younus Samuel serves as Associate Pastor at New Life Assembly of God. Earlier, he served as Youth Pastor for more than a decade, helping nurture and build Youth Alive into a large and vibrant youth fellowship.

His leadership is especially associated with major projects, event management and an unconventional approach to ministry.

He is married to Ujjwala, who serves in worship, missions and women’s ministry. They are blessed with two children, Joey and Ria.

Ps. Ujjwala Samuel has served as a worship leader alongside Associate Pastor Rev. Younus Samuel for many years. Together they serve as Campus Pastors at NLAG Hi-Tech City, also lead Naya Jeevan, the church’s NGO ministry and are also actively involved in marital counseling.

She previously led the NLAG Women’s Ministry and now serves as one of the Telugu District Women’s Leaders.

Pastors Ujjwala and Younus have been married for 27 years and are blessed with two children, Joey and Riya.

Dr. Joseph Christadoss began serving as a bi-vocational Care Pastor in 2014, bringing a strong background in education and administration. In September 2022, he transitioned into full-time ministry as Associate Pastor.

Together with his wife, Prof. Uma Joseph, he oversees the Carecell Ministry. Under their leadership, the ministry has grown to more than 150 Carecells.

Joseph and Uma have two married daughters and a granddaughter.

Prof. Uma Joseph has served as a bi-vocational Care Pastor since 2014 and has a distinguished background in academics and administration.

Together with her husband, Dr. Joseph Christadoss, she leads the Carecell Ministry. Under their leadership, the ministry has grown to more than 150 Carecells.

Uma and Joseph have two married daughters and a granddaughter.

Pastor Suraj Paul has served the Lord in a bi-vocational capacity for more than 20 years. He previously served as Worship Pastor at New Life Assembly of God, Hyderabad, and now serves as Associate Pastor. Alongside ministry, he is also involved in his family business, Asia Book House.

He holds a Master of Divinity from Regent University, Virginia, and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Ministry from Regent. Suraj and his wife, Sweetie, have long been part of the church family and are blessed with two daughters, Selah and Hosanna.

Pastor Sweetie Suraj serves at New Life Assembly of God alongside her husband, Associate Pastor Suraj Paul. She is actively involved in Women’s Ministry, Children’s Ministry, and worship, and has a heart for prayer, intercession and mentoring.

Sweetie graduated from Christian Fellowship Hospital, Amblikkai, and worked for several years as a nurse before dedicating herself to raising her family. Sweetie and Suraj have been married for 22 years and are blessed with two daughters, Selah and Hosanna, whom they homeschool.

Rev. Milton Raj joined New Life Assembly of God in 2006 as Admin Assistant to the Youth Pastor after a background that included national-level soccer and leadership at ITC. He became Youth Pastor in 2014.

His ministry is driven by a desire to see young people transformed and to build a strong connection between the church and its community.

He is married to Josephine and they are blessed with two daughters, Tasha and Shannon.

Pastor Josephine Milton serves as Co-Pastor at New Life Assembly of God alongside her husband, Rev. Milton Raj, who serves as the Youth Pastor.

She is actively involved in the Telugu Service, a recent addition to the church services, and also supports the youth ministry across three campuses along with the campus youth leaders.

Josephine is passionate about investing in the lives of young people and encouraging them to grow in their faith and leadership.
