Our Church is a place called HOME, with people we call FAMILY"
This Week's Bulletin
As we prepare for our Missions Convention next week, it is worth looking at the life of one of the greatest missionaries in Scripture – the Apostle Paul. Paul’s missionary journeys covered an extraordinary distance. Estimates vary depending on how the routes are calculated, but his three major missionary journeys together covered approximately 12,000 – 13,000 kms. Including his journey to Rome, the total may have exceeded 16,000 kms. And remember how he traveled: there were no airplanes, cars, trains, or comfortable highways. Large portions of his journeys were made on foot, over rough terrain and ancient roads, while other portions were by ship. That is an incredible amount of travel – but what is even more remarkable is why he kept going.
